In a city like Abu Dhabi, where the summer heat is very annoying, water parks are something like a miracle and can easily save you from the intense heat of Abu Dhabi for a few hours.
My reason for going to the water parks of Abu Dhabi was not only the summer heat but also the desire to prepare a report on these water parks and share my experiences with you.
Abu Dhabi has few water parks; some only have one pool and a few slides. But it has a water park that is considered one of the best in the world. This water park is so big and equipped that it is enough for Abu Dhabi. For this reason, I have dedicated a large part of this article to the introduction and review of Yas Water Park so that you can get to know it well.
Yas Water Park

The area of this water park is about 15 hectares; in other words, 15 football fields can be accommodated in it. According to the latest survey conducted on the New York Times website, Yas Water Park has won second place among the best water parks in the world.
This water park has 44 slides; you need a full day to use them all. The ticket price for this water park in 2024 is about 225 to 295 dirhams, which you can buy through the www.yaswaterworld.com.
The operating hours of this water park are 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. I suggest you enter this water park at 11 am and leave at 5 pm because at 6 pm there will be many people trying to go and there will be crowding.

Different parts of Yas Water Park
Since this water park is very big, it has been divided into different parts. I have also decided to introduce each section separately.
Falcon zone
The feeling of falling from a tall building and being stuck in a dark and fast tunnel was how I felt in this section.
Liwa Loop was exactly where I felt like falling off a tall building, but it had a happy ending and ended slowly.
The Dawwama slide, a tornado-shaped slide, is one of my best experiences. At first, I rode a rubber ring with 6 people simultaneously and entered a 20-meter track.
The next slide was Falcon’s Falaj water slide. This slide was full of twists and turns, and I constantly experienced the feeling of falling and being rescued. This slide, like Dawwama, requires 6 people.

JEBEL ZONE
The second part of this beautiful waterpark is called JEBEL; In JEBEL ZONE there are 8 amusements and slides. The Hamlool’s Humps water slide is very high, so you can quickly fall and see the whole water park from above while falling.
The Jebel Drop slide is a 6-lane slide that, unlike other slides, I slept on my stomach, went straight down and finally fell into a river.
DOLPHIN ZONE
The Dolphin section, located right in front of the main entrance, which I reached after a short walk, included Bubbles Barre, Rush Rider, and a restaurant. The first part, which is also the main part, was simulated surfing, which I tried and found very exciting.
The Bubbles Barre section is for professionals who can surf at a height of 3 meters.
BANDIT ZONE
The fourth section is called Bandit, and I was very tired when I went there. So, I first went to the restaurant in this section and got some energy by eating pizza. In addition to the restaurant, there are 2 stores and other exciting water activities in this section.
In the Bandit section is a roller coaster where I reached the peak of speed and excitement while suspended. This train is the longest suspended roller coaster in the Middle East.
MARAH ZONE
This section is for children; you can leave your children in this section and go to other sections yourself.
DHABI ZONE
The sixth recreational section of the Yas Water Park is the Dhabi section, which includes the roaring river. In this section, I had firmly attached the rubber ring to save myself from the high waves of this river.

How to access Yas Water Park Abu Dhabi
There are different ways to go to this water park, but I will tell you the way that I used.
To go to this park, I boarded Emirates Express bus number E100 at Al Ghubaiba station and got off at Abu Dhabi bus station. The cost of my trip was 25 dirhams.
You can also take a bus from Ibn Battuta station to Abu Dhabi. The cost of these buses is 25 dirhams.

Murjan Splash Park
Among other water parks in Abu Dhabi, I can mention Murjan Splash Park. This water park is smaller than Yas Water Park and more suitable for teenagers and children.
I had a good experience going to this water park. It had a good restaurant, and the slides were good for fun, but the cleanliness could have been better.
If you are not very interested in a water park and want the children to be happy, go to this water park.
