Istanbul fake market

Since I have lived in this city for about 3 months, I am familiar with most of the markets in Istanbul, and I can guide you well in buying cheap clothes. In the following, I will introduce you to the best places where I have bought fake clothes.

Kadikoy area stores

My first suggestion is the Kadikoy market of Istanbul. Since this market is located in the Asian part of the city and fewer tourists visit than the European part, the prices of clothes are lower.

I suggest you go to Istiklal Street first and get information about the price of clothes in that area, then go to Kapatas Beach and take a ferry to Kadikoy and explore this market to see the difference in the price of clothes between Kadikoy and Istiklal.

Sometimes, you may find the same clothes you saw on Istiklal Street at a lower price in the Kadikoy market.

Also, considering that many people go to this area with the view of cheap clothes, most of the clothes in this area are fake, and you can buy fake and cheap clothes at the lowest cost.

Istanbul weekly markets

If your trip to Istanbul is long and you plan to stay in Istanbul for a whole week, be sure to do your shopping at Istanbul’s weekly markets. You can find anything you can think of in the weekly markets of Istanbul. Fake clothes, Turkish brand clothes, bags, shoes, vegetables, fruits, household appliances, etc., are among the things you can find in the weekly markets of Istanbul.🤗

Below is a list of the best weekly markets in Istanbul:

  1. Sunday Market Istanbul
  2. Monday Market Istanbul
  3. Tuesday Market Istanbul
  4. Wednesday Market Istanbul
  5. Thursday Market Istanbul
  6. Friday Market Istanbul
  7. Saturday Market Istanbul

Another fake bazaar in Istanbul, also known as the “community bazaar”, is the Çekmeköy Ulus bazaar. Like other weekly markets in Istanbul, you can find all kinds of fake and cheap clothes.

Besiktas Shopping Street, located in the European part of the city, consists of several passages in which various clothes are sold. For example, there is a cheap arcade called Sinan Pasha at the entrance of Beşiktaş market, which is unique for buying cheap and fake clothes.

It is good to know that you can find clothes from famous brands like Bershka at very reasonable prices in this market. But people mainly go to this market to buy fake and cheap clothes.

To go to this street, you can take the M2 metro line to Osmanbey station and walk for 20 minutes from there to reach this market.

 Shops in the Laleli area

The Laleli area is the best place to buy a dress in Istanbul. Also You can find cheap and fake clothes in the Laleli area. There are more than 7,000 stores in this area, most of which are clothing stores.

It’s good to know that every year in August, there is a Laleli shopping festival, during which the whole area turns into a giant mall for buying cheap clothes in Istanbul. So, especially if you travel to Istanbul in August, visit the Laleli area.

This area was great for me because I could buy several T-shirts at 50% off, so I suggest you visit the shopping street. To go to this market, take the M2 metro line, get off at Vezneciler station, and walk to this market.

  1. Hello, the list was very complete, I always bought clothes from these areas during the 5 years I lived in Istanbul. Laleli Street has very cheap and high quality products. If you go to Istanbul one day, be sure to visit the shops on Laleli street.

  2. I went to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul today and saw a lot of fake clothes. These clothes were of very good material and also had a reasonable price. I bought 3 t-shirts and 1 jeans for 500 lira from Grand Bazaar.

    1. Grand bazaar is a total rip off. For more expensive than any other bazaar. There’s some stalls outside the bazaar and these are okay but the shops inside I would not waste your time. They will try to Rob you blind.
