Dubai water parks are ideal places to escape from the city’s heat. All kinds of water parks, from luxury to cheap, have been built in this city so everyone can use them.

When I was staying in Dubai in the summer, I tried not to leave the hotel during the day because of the heat, but after a few days, I got tired of this situation and decided to visit all the water parks in Dubai instead of staying in the hotel.

I visited most of the water parks in this city, and I will share my experience of visiting them in this article. So, stay with me until the end of this article to discover interesting things.

Laguna Waterpark

 

Since my first hotel was in the Lamer section of Dubai, I chose Laguna Waterpark because it was close to the hotel.

When I entered this water park, I realized its area was smaller than the water parks in Istanbul, but it entertained me for about five hours. I will tell you about my experience visiting this park in the following.

In addition to exciting water activities and water slides, this water park has many recreational facilities for children to enjoy with their families.

This water park includes a Lazy River, Manta, Aqua Play, Mad Racer, Free Fall, waveOz 180, Infinity Pool, restaurants, and cafes.

There are more than 10 water slides in this park. In this complex, the WaveOz 180 FlowRider is made for surfing. There are only three examples globally, and this feature distinguishes it from other competitors. Surfing in this complex is not only for adults; children and teenagers can also surf there.

This water park is located right next to La Mer beach. I first took the red metro line and got off at the Financial Center Metro Station. After walking for 15 minutes, I reached the water park.

Legoland Water Park

On the second day, I went to Legoland Water Park, which was outside the city and far from my hotel. To get there, I took the red metro line to the UAE Exchange Metro Station and took a taxi the rest of the way.

When I arrived at this water park, I found that it was designed for children under 12 years old, although adults could use it.

Legoland is one of the best tourist attractions in Dubai for children. If you are looking for a water park suitable for children, I recommend Legoland.

Legoland Dubai’s theme and water park are on Sheikh Zayed Street, opposite the Jebel Ali archipelago. This Dubai theme park is one of the most popular in the world. The beautiful buildings of Dubai have been built using Lego, and children can enjoy its activities.

ICELAND: Biggest water theme park in UAE

Since I am fond of penguins, I visited this water park to see its decorations up close. Iceland Water Park may be the best option for you if you are also interested in the North Pole, penguins, and Eskimo houses.

Everything in this water park looks like the North Pole, and its color theme is white and blue. Penguin statues are in different parts of the park, and you can take pictures with them.

This water park has many exciting water slides suitable for children and adults, but the negative point is that you must use some water slides without a tube or ring. They are not quite standard but don’t worry because they won’t hurt you.

Although this water park is known as the land of ice, artificial hot water springs are also available, which can be the best treatment for muscle cramps.

Iceland Dubai Water Park is in Ras Al Khaimah, Al Jazirah Al Hamra area. It is one of the cheapest water parks in Dubai, and it takes about 2 hours to use its services. In the Iceland water park, you can ride 1- or 2-person tubes, slide down the water slides, and fall into the pool. I am sure this work will be one of your most memorable pastimes.

This water park is one of the largest and most equipped in Dubai, and it is visited by most tourists.

When I first entered this water park, I was surprised by its size. It provided a variety of colorful water slides and different services, but I could only use some of them due to a lack of time.

This water park is one of the Outdoor water parks in Dubai. It uses the latest technology, so the temperature inside the park remains completely balanced in all seasons.

People who stay at Jumeirah Hotels and other hotels related to this water park can use it for free.

Another interesting feature of Wild Wadi Water Park is the possibility of renting a Cabana for family members.

This park has 11 sections and water slides, which you can see below.

The downside of this Water Park is that it is too crowded, and I had to stand in line for an hour to use the water slides. Even when I wanted to enter the water park, I stood in line for 40 minutes even though I bought the ticket online.

After I got tired, I went to the main restaurant and paid 80 dirhams for a pizza, which was expensive and not worth it.

If you can tolerate crowds and stand in long queues, go to this water park; otherwise, it is unsuitable for you.

Atlantis Water Park (Aquaventure)

This water park is the largest in Dubai. Located in Palm Jumeirah and is part of Atlantis Hotel.

I spent a few nights at the Atlantis Hotel. Therefore, I went to the Atlantis Water Park, located next to this hotel, several times during the day.

The number of water slides, facilities, and restaurants in this water park is so large that you will need more time to visit them all in one day.

In this park, there are various water slides such as LEAP OF FAITH, anaconda, Zoomerango, Poseidon’s Revenge, Slitherine, Shark Attack, and Water Coasters along the 1.6 km long Rapids River, which I suggest you use all of them.

My favorite part of this water park is The Torrent, where a wave generator can create waves over a meter high.

Zero Entry Pools are like the ocean; when you enter it, the depth of the water gradually increases, giving you the feeling of swimming in the ocean.

One thing you should know about this water park is that it is crowded, like Wild Wadi Water Park, and you must stand in line for about an hour to use the water slides. I recommend avoiding peak times near major holidays like Easter, summer, and Christmas.

Unlike Wild Wadi Water Park, visiting this water park is worth it because it has various water slides and a beautiful environment.

Splash n Party water park

This water park is for families who have traveled to Dubai with their children. This water park is suitable for children under 8 years old to play together.

Splash n Party water park has a small space, but its positive point is that it is not crowded, and children can play in peace.

There are several water slides along with a zipline that children can use.
