Dubai Mall’s free fountain show timing: you’ll miss it If you don’t go at specific times

You have also heard the saying, “Just breathing is free in Dubai!” Of course, this sentence is true to some extent; most of Dubai’s entertainment and tourist areas are paid for and very expensive. But there is a place in Dubai that I didn’t believe was free, but after going there, I found out that it is accurate and is one of the ten free tourist places in Dubai.

Dubai Fontaine is precisely what I am talking about. This fountain, located next to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, has 6,600 colored lights that can throw water up to a height of 275 meters, so don’t hesitate to visit it and come to see the show at certain times because you will miss the show if you don’t get there in time.

Sunday to Thursday: The first show of this fountain starts at 1:00 pm and continues until 1:30 pm. The next show is from 6 pm to 11 pm, every half hour for 6 minutes. This fountain shows different and attractive shows according to different music during this time.

Friday and Saturday: On Fridays and Saturdays, the noon performance time is longer, and from 13:00 to 14:00, this water fountain is performed two times. The evening time is the same as the other days of the week.

Unfortunately, I first went to this fountain at 1:00 pm. I could only see the water flying in the sky, and there was no sign of the 6,600 colored lights. But since I knew about the presence of lights and colors, I went to this water fountain the second time at 8 pm, and its display was very different from 1 pm.

Usually, the best time to watch the fountain show is after sunset, from 7 pm to 11 pm, because there is no heat from the sun, and you can watch the attractive water show with lights in the best way.

If you go to the Dubai fountain on particular days of the year, such as Christmas, Eid al-Fitr, etc., you can watch the fireworks and Burj Khalifa light show at the same time as the Dubai Mall fountain. You will not find anything like it anywhere in the world!

At the end of the line

In addition to all the points I said, where you watch this show is also significant. The first time, I didn’t know there would be a large crowd to visit the fountain, and I stood right next to the fountain, but the crowd bothered me a lot. The next time, I decided to go to nearby cafes or Souk Al-Bahar Bridge to watch this show.
