Dubai Duty Free
In Terminal 3, other shops sell products in addition to the above brands. These shops are duty free, and you can buy goods of various brands at lower prices there.
When I got off the plane, I was quite tired and didn’t feel like shopping, but when I entered the airport, I forgot about the fatigue when I saw the Duty Free shops and visited all of them to prepare a complete report.
Duty free shops were scattered throughout the airport and sold perfumes, cosmetics, electronics, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, jewellery, sports equipment, books, and watches.
I saw many brand products during my visit to Duty-Free, and I have included some of them below:
Dior | Estee | Dalmore |
Gucci | Jomalone | Themacallan-home |
TomFord | Apple | Iqos |
Givenchy | Samsung | Tumi |
Bvlgari | louisXIII | ddfTennis |
I have visited all duty free shops in terminal 3 and found their location for you and listed below:
- Concourse C
- Concourse A- Train Connections
- Concourse B
- Arrivals
- Depatures
Since Duty-Free shops are scattered throughout all 3 airport terminals, you may not have enough time to visit all of Them. In this case, you can buy your products online and deliver them in person before your flight.

What to buy in Dubai Airport?
Buying souvenirs from the airport is one of my favourite things. Dubai souvenirs are my first suggestion to you. Dates, Arabic sweets and spices are some of the best things you can buy at the airport, but if you don’t like them, don’t worry because below are some other things that, in my experience, most travellers buy at Dubai Airport.
Alcohol
One of the most popular things that tourists buy when they arrive at Dubai Airport is alcoholic beverages. Duty-free shops sell alcoholic drinks at lower prices than hotels.
Read the article “Alcohol Prices In Dubai” for more information.
Chocolate
Chocolate is one of the goods sold in Dubai airport stores. You should pay attention to the fact that the price of chocolate in Dubai airport is a bit expensive; for example, the price of a small box of chocolate is about 9 dollars.
Watch
A watch is one of the most expensive items from Dubai duty free shops. There are different brands, such as Rolex, Swatch, Citizen, Guess, Emporio Armani, and Michael Kors, in this airport. The price of some watches is high; for example, a Rolex watch with diamond decoration costs about 17,000 dollars.
Handbags
Women’s Handbags are another product that you can buy at Dubai Airport. The price of a black women’s Louis Vuitton bag at this airport is about $4100, which you can see below.
Sunglasses
Sunglasses are one of the most precious items at Free Shop of Dubai airport. Gucci, Saint Laurent, Prada, and Bvlgari brands are available at this airport, and you can buy glasses from them.
Perfume
You can buy Givenchy perfume at this airport. The price of an 80 ml perfumeis about 200 dollars. Another brand that you can buy perfume from is the Gentleman brand, which costs around $100. Also, Clinique is another famous cologne brand sold at Dubai Airport.
Sport shoes
If you like sports or walk often, go to the Adidas store and buy shoes there. An Adidas sneaker pictured below costs about $260.
Carrefour store in Dubai airport
If you feel hungry after getting off the plane, don’t worry; there is a Carrefour store right after baggage collection in T3 arrivals, where you can buy food.
Various things are sold in this store, such as hot and cold drinks, delicious snacks, salads, sandwiches, sushi, etc. I bought a small sandwich there and started my adventure at the airport.
Tips you should know before shopping at Dubai Airport
When I arrived at the Dubai airport, I realized that there are rules for buying some goods in this airport, which I have mentioned below:
- You are only allowed to buy gifts up to 3000 dirhams.
- You are allowed to buy only 400 cigarettes, 50 cigars, and 500 grams of tobacco
- You are allowed to buy only 4 liters of alcoholic beverages or 2 cartons of beer (each carton contains 24 cans, and each can is less than 355 ml)
Where to buy food in Dubai airport?
After sightseeing and shopping at the airport, I was quite hungry, so I looked for the best restaurants in Terminal 3. There were many famous restaurants there, but I wanted to try new food, so I went to each restaurant and got to know them. After looking around, I chose the Giraffe restaurant because it had many international dishes.
Below, you can see the list of some restaurants that have branches at the airport:
The Sports Shack | Delizie | Subway |
Desi Lunch Box | Burger King | M&M |
O’Regan’s | Marrybrown | Food plus |
Pret A Manger | Veranda Café | Paper Café |
In the final analysis
Dubai Airport is like a luxury shopping centre where you can get anything. One of the disadvantages of these shops (apart from duty free) in this airport is that they sell their products at a high price. If you don’t like to buy expensive products, I suggest you read the following articles for more information:
