Mall of Emirates vs Dubai Mall, Which One is Better?
People visit malls for different reasons. Some go to eat, some go to shop, and others go to these places to enjoy the mall entertainment.

It is better to start this comparison in terms of area. The total area of Dubai Mall is about 1,124,000 square meters, and the total area of the Mall of the Emirates is about 222,000 square meters, so Dubai Mall wins in this comparison!

Comparison in terms of the number of visitors
In recent years, the number of visitors to Dubai Mall has increased, and more than 60 million people visit it annually. The number of visitors to the Mall of the Emirates is less than Dubai Mall and is about 40 million people annually.
If you are looking for a big place and you don’t mind being in a crowd, Dubai Mall is the best option for you, but if you don’t enjoy being in a crowd and you like to do your shopping in a secluded place, Mall of the Emirates is the right option.

Comparison in terms of number of stores
The number of stores built in Dubai Mall is estimated to be around 1200, while the number of stores in the Mall of the Emirates is around 900.
It makes sense that Dubai Mall has more stores than Mall of the Emirates because it has more area.
If you are looking for retail and want to have a relaxing shopping, go to the Mall of the Emirates, but if you are looking for excitement and shopping pleasure, Dubai Mall is a better option.
If you have never been to either of these two shopping centers, visit Dubai Mall first and Mall of the Emirates on the last days of your trip. Follow my advice and be sure you won’t regret it.

Comparison in terms of product prices
Since the Mall of the Emirates is smaller than the Dubai Mall and has fewer visitors, it is clear that the prices of goods there are lower than the Dubai Mall, so visitors are encouraged to go to the Mall of the Emirates and shop there.
Dubai residents usually buy goods from the Mall of the Emirates because it is cheaper and secluded.

Comparison in terms of entertainment
Undoubtedly, Dubai Mall is the winner of this comparison. The presence of many entertainments such as the ski resort, aquarium, Dubai Dino, cinema, KidZania, and the Dubai Mall fountain attracts every tourist.
Emirates Mall has entertainment such as cinema, skiing, escape room, amusement park, bowling and Dreamscape, but they are not as attractive as Dubai Mall entertainment.

Comparison in terms of restaurants
You can guess the answer to this comparison yourself. The Dubai Mall has more restaurants than the Mall of the Emirates, giving you more choices.
Dubai Mall has branches from Chinese, Italian, Indian, and American restaurants such as Gia, The Cheesecake Factory, PepperMill, and New Shanghai, exotic Turkish, Mexican, and African restaurants such as Chili’s and Tribes Carnivore.
The Mall of the Emirates has 2 food courts according to the latest international standards, and generally, there are over 100 cafes and restaurants.
If you are looking for great variety, go to Dubai Mall, and if you are looking for a quiet place to eat, choose Mall of the Emirates.
I prefer to go to the Dubai Mall to eat.
