Dubai airport name list

Dubai has two airports named Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum Airport. Many tourists travel to Dubai through these airports every day. For this reason, Dubai airports have become one of the busiest airports in the world.

I visited both of these airports during my trip to Dubai. However, since I visited Dubai International Airport more often, I have more information about it, which I will share with you.

Dubai International Airport, with code DXB, is the UAE’s main and most important airport. This airport is located 4 km from Dubai City, in the Al-Gharhoud area, and its area is 2,900 hectares. Dubai International Airport can handle 75 million passengers annually; in 2014, approximately 70 million people traveled through this airport.

Three separate terminals have been built at Dubai International Airport for domestic and international flights. Most reputable airlines like Lufthansa have a private sector in this airport. Terminal number one is the most important terminal of Dubai International Airport. Flights to the Middle East region are usually carried out through terminal number two. This terminal covers all flights to the Persian Gulf and South Asia. Terminal three at Dubai International Airport is for Emirates and Qantas Spain flights. Terminal number three is one of the largest buildings in the world.

Features of Dubai International Airport

You can use free and unlimited internet at Dubai International Airport. To connect to the airport internet, you must connect to the DWC Free WiFi or DXB Free WiFi networks.

As I mentioned in the article “How much cash can we take to Dubai“, travelers can do all their financial affairs, such as currency exchange, through the banks available in each airport terminal. All banks in this airport have ATMs.

Dubai International Airport has a lost items office in all three terminals where you can pick up your lost items. This airport provides other facilities, including medical and emergency service centers. Also, this airport has a bathroom so passengers can use it.

If you have to wait several hours at the airport, you can visit the airport museum located in Hall A. There are massage and spa salons in B and C halls that are available for the use of passengers.
