Most of the teachers of Dubai American School have American nationality. One hundred eighty-eight teachers and 53 teaching assistants are working in this school. The number of employees is adequate, with one teacher for every ten students.

ASD offers KG1 to 12th-grade classes and is accredited by the Middle States Association of America. Student admission to the school is made with the approval of the “ASD” school admission committee, and students must successfully pass the school’s admission standards, including assessments that take various forms.

Generally, this school expects students to be at a higher academic level and a year ahead of them compared to schools in America. This school places great emphasis on academic achievement.

The annual tuition fee is 56,000 dirhams for pre-kindergarten, 59,255 dirhams for KG1, 64,683 dirhams for KG2, and 82,581 dirhams for 1st to 12th-grade students.

Tim Charlton, the first principal of Dubai College, opened the school in 1978 so British secondary school students in Dubai would not have to go to the UK to study at this level.

The teachers of this school have a high academic level, and some of its employees have been working in this school since the 80s.

In the new academic year (2023), the tuition fee of Dubai College for grades 7 to 11 is 28,000 dirhams per semester, and for 12 and 13 grades is 32,000 dirhams per semester. Each academic year in this school has three semesters.

Cambridge International has students from 56 different nationalities. Most of the students of this school are Indian (56%), and after that, Pakistani students (17%), Sri Lankan students (7%), Egyptian students (5%), and Filipino students (%3).

Keep in mind that these percentages are high for an inner-city school with 1,250 elementary students as well as 1,466 middle school students.

The tuition fees of this school are very reasonable for a school that teaches according to the English curriculum. Fees range from 22,000 dirhams per year for FS1 classes, 25,000 to 27,000 dirhams for elementary, and 30,000 to 34,000 dirhams for years 7 to 13, depending on the student’s academic year.

Jumeirah College tuition varies from 72 thousand dirhams per year for the seventh grade to 91 thousand dirhams per year for the 13th grade.
